Whenever PARKING NON-STOP find themselves making field recordings in the Bialowieski National Park on the Polish-Belarus border, they never fail to sample the excellent local cuisine, sometimes visiting the HOTEL ZUBROWKA restaurant in Bialowieza to enjoy maybe Szynka z dzika w sosie z™urawinowym - Stewed wild boar ham in cranberry sauce served with roasted potatoes and braised vegetables, or perhaps Comber z sarny w sosie wis´niowym - Roe-deer's sadle of vension in cherry sauce served with onion rings and French bean (except for Dewi, who's a vegetarian), washed down, of course, with lashings of the finest Zubrowka Bison-grass vodka. The hotel itself is a fairly characterless modern building, but the food certainly makes up for that!

On other occasions, they may choose one of the town's more aesthetically pleasing resaurants Unikat (left) or Karczma (right), both of who specialize in fine local dishes of Zubr - the local European Bison, the largest European mammal, whose only surviving colony is in the nearby forest.
